Rugs, much like curtains, often require a variety of different cleaning methods depending on the type and quality of your rug. After inspection every rug is given a thorough dusting to remove  the maximum possible amount of large dry dirt and dust particles. Most rugs will go through a full immersion cleaning process followed by drying in our centrifuge, more delicate items such as Persian or Afghan rugs are cleaned using a gentler process and softer fluids, or often cleaned by hand if required. This is all done to preserve the very delicate structures in the rug, its dyes ( very often natural plant based), and the overall look. As a final preventative measure, stain or moth protection can be applied post cleaning should you require it, to prolong the life of your rug.
